Come join your neighbors at the Cabana as we enjoy this beautiful weather. There will be s’mores, facepainting, tattoos and firepits as we enjoy a relaxing evening. Festivities are set to begin at 7pm. Bring your own lawn chairs and we’ll see you there!
The pool is opening on May 1, but come help clean up the area with your neighbors on Saturday, April 27! We are meeting at 9am to work together on a few small projects. With our group, this won’t take long, so even if you can only devote a few minutes of your time, please come join us. Also, those who help are able to enjoy the pool early!
It’s that time of year again and HoA Board has lined up a great opportunity to get fresh straw delivered in front of your house for a price ($3.75/bale) that is hard to beat. The deadline to order is May 9, but can be handled with a simple phone call. Please take a look at the link below to take advantage of this!
Please RSVP for this event. We will have drinks, burgers, chips and dessert, along with games and prizes! Feel free to bring a dish to share!

This year, the Fall Festival will be held at multiple sites on the Place side of the neighborhood. Families are encouraged to make their way around to the different stops and take advantage of the hay ride. The festivities will include:
¨ Games, Crafts, Hay Ride & Activities for all ages from 4:00 – 6:00 along Keowee Drive and Oldtown Drive
¨ Children’s Costume Parade at 5:30 on Jocassee Trace
¨ Neighborhood Cookout at 6:00 on Jocassee Trace – Please bring a side and/or dessert to share!
The fall festival committee is hoping everyone will get involved, volunteer and/or donate items to this year’s Fall Festival. You can do this by contacting Jennifer Gibbons (803-356-8359 or jgibbons@marriedtomylove.com) or Sharon Paeth (toofaraway@windstream.net). This is always a wonderful event and a great opportunity to meet neighbors you don’t yet know or put names with faces you wave to every day!
This year’s annual meeting will be held at Faith United Methodist Church at 5151 Sunset Boulevard (on Hwy. 378 next to Target) on Thursday, November 7 at 7:00 p.m.
The Board hopes all homeowners will make plans to attend. All residents are encouraged to submit a proxy before the meeting to Kevin Hardy (417 Keowee), even if you plan to attend. When you arrive at the meeting, you can revoke your proxy and vote in person. It is important that we have enough residents represented (in person or by proxy) in order to conduct the meeting. Items on the agenda include:
¨ Community Update
¨ Budget Overview
¨ Elect two board members
You can find the proxy form here.
